Balance is hard to achieve so I can't promise that. But my approach to managing midwifery and entrepreneurship allows me to enjoy my life, my family & friends, my dogs, MYSELF! YES, I learned the hard way, but you don't have to. You'll have community of like-minded professionals to cheer you on, motivate, & encourage you, and bring positivity and light in your journey. You'll be forced to get uncomfortable and take action towards your plans and goals.

No, You're Not Crazy
Listen, if you are the odd ball out or feeling like you are not showing up in midwifery & maternal heath the way you want, You're not imagining things. The current state of affairs for midwifery and women's health, especially in the hospital setting, is bleak, uncomfortable and downright unfulfilling. You may be feeling like you want OUT, but don't want to share all your thoughts, dreams and ideas with anyone, ESPECIALLY folks who may not be supportive of your endeavors.
Here's the other issue. You don't know where to begin! How the heck do you even think of venturing out on your own to start a midwifery service that will bring you joy AND impact the lives of mothers in your community? Well here's one tidbit of advice, don't talk to anyone who hasn't done it and has no vision. Don't share your ideas with people who are fearful and/or inexperienced in the very thing you're seeking! You'll walk away feeling like your dreams and aspirations are completely impossible.
